DSLR Workshop

DSLR WORKSHOP.

Today’s workshop was about learning and getting a feel for the DSLR Camera’s. These cameras are under the brand CANON and can also be used for our future productions instead of using the larger camera’s. This could be more convenient if you are shooting more zero budget productions and are planning on doing more handheld shots or angles, for example I will consider using a DSLR for my own production in the direction’s unit.

Within this workshop, we also had a lecture about the ISO, F-Stop, Aperture, Lenses and the different frame sizes and how they can be used to create different depths of fields, brightness’s, contrasts and blurriness.

I really liked using the DSLR’S as I felt more comfortable using them as I have had previous experience with them before by filming short sequences and doing photography. Therefore, I think using a DSLR may be more practical when shooting zero to low budget films when there isn’t much crew available as it is easier to transport and can be more accessible if you want to capture a quick shot out and about or even under a time limit.
